  • Quality design leads to quality manufacturing. That’s why at Mack Engineering, we work with our clients’ engineers from the earliest possible stages of every project. Partnering with engineers allows us to truly understand the design and purpose of each component, leading to more efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes and higher-quality finished products that will meet your needs every time.

    Mack Engineering offers several advantages:

    Expert, flexible team

Our team members have the knowledge and expertise needed to see your projects through from early concept to finished product. We’ll work with you to overcome design challenges and create cost-effective solutions to get the job done right, sometimes in ways never thought possible. We can consult on the manufacturability of parts you design, and we’re flexible, innovative and hardworking, everything you want and need in a manufacturing team. Most importantly, we’re passionate about what we do, and we’re confident that it’ll show in every finished product.

    Modern facility with new equipment

Too often, engineers are forced to design parts based on the limited production capabilities of their manufacturers. When you work with Mack Engineering, you can say goodbye to those limits. Our clean, temperature-controlled, 31,000-square-foot facility has current computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment. Structured in cells for lean, effective staffing, our 20-plus machines with support equipment can do just about anything while keeping production times and costs to a minimum. We invite you to come in and take a look at our modern facility, built in 1997. You’ll see that we have the equipment to manufacture parts based on how you design, not the other way around.

    Culture of innovation

At Mack Engineering, we thrive on innovation and continuous improvement. Our commitment to those things is what’s helped us grow from a two-person machine shop in 1943 to a leading manufacturer of precision machined components for companies like Kodak, John Deere, IBM, Honeywell and 3M. And despite our longevity and success, we’re never satisfied; our team is eager to learn more and devise new ways of completing projects. From acquiring the latest equipment to repurposing old machines to consulting with you on any aspect of your job, we’ll do whatever it takes to do it right and keep it that way.

Sound processes from incoming to production to shipping

In the more than 65 years since we opened, Mack Engineering has developed an advanced system to track each project throughout the entire manufacturing process. From the time we get your purchase order to the day we ship your finished parts, we know where everything is and what else needs to be done. Our processes lead to greater repeatability and consistency during production while resulting in fewer quality defects, lost orders and late shipments. And because we quality-check every job before we ship it, you can be sure that our products meet your design requirements. Still not convinced? Check out our ISO registration, which certifies that our components are of the highest quality and we’re striving for continuous improvement.
